Looking for an outside activity to do with the whole family? Well you are in luck. Saturday June 1st, will be the first ever Run Wild fun run at Mahoney State Park, benefiting threatened and endangered species. This is a chilren’s 1 mile trail run, and a 10K trail run for adults. And this being a wildlife event, children can dress in wildlife or animal costumes and run!! While you aren’t running, or just want to have some fun at Mahoney there will be activity stations for kids including snakes of Nebraska (with live snakes), Raptor Recovery (with live raptors), edible scat, and much more!
